Troyka launch their new album Ornithophobia at Shoreditch venue Rich Mix in London on 12 February, a few days into their new tour which kicks off in Leeds.

Picking up where 2012’s Moxxy left off and going even deeper there’s a new futurist complexion to the album, the sci-fi twist on ‘Thopter’ – the news tonight: London is still under total lockdown the computerised voice intones eerily describing a virus that has been rumoured to cause gruesome deformities – one of the big talking points.

Back to their normal configuration after a super-sized Troyk-estra episode, Belovèd Trio bassist Petter Eldh who produces makes a difference to the band sound and will be on hand at Rich Mix to DJ. Keyboardist Dan Nicholls of Strobes will also play a short solo set on the night. Tickets and more info: here
