Can of Worms is to be the new album from George Crowley, another much touted relative newcomer making his way this spring with his band of the same name.

Two and a half years on from the release of the saxophonist’s debut album Paper Universe on which Crowley was joined by the Kit Downes trio, all former college friends from Royal Academy of Music days, it’s all change in terms of personnel for this new Whirlwind album, Brass Mask saxophonist Tom Challenger, pianist Dan Nicholls, bassist Sam Lasserson, and Kairos 4tet/Monocled Man drummer Jon Scott now well installed in the Crowley band. Made up of original tunes the saxophonist has written expect a release in late-March. Can of Worms, above (Crowley in the white shirt)
