Mount Molehill Voices join hit jazz trio for latest Derry show
A Music City appearance by the Neil Cowley Trio with The Mount Molehill Voices at Derry’s oldest church St Augustine’s a stone’s throw from the city walls is the latest event in the ongoing Cowley city of culture 2013 residency later this month. Music City, on Friday 21 June, an all-day feast of music in the city, will see the trio performing with the Molehill Voices in a new arrangement of music from The Face of Mount Molehill the trio’s latest studio album. The choir features well known local singers Glenn Rosborough, Jeanette Hutton, Ruairi O’Doherty, John Keaveney and Jilly St John. Special guests are the One Voice Youth Choir. In the autumn the Cowley trio will unveil ‘The Eighth Gate’ their special city of culture year multi-media commission.
