Free-jazz colossus Evan Parker joins forces once more with expat English pianist John Escreet on new album The Unknown to be released by the Sunnyside label in late-October.

Bassist John Hébert and drummer Tyshawn Sorey complete the band who have already played together on what was issued as Sound, Space and Structures two years ago. 

The new album is Escreet’s first live album and combines recordings from gigs in Amsterdam and Rotterdam.
