A little under three years on from Internationally Recognised Aliens The Impossible Gentlemen return with their third album in July.

Titled Let’s Get Deluxe the album is to be released during the same week as the Gents’ pianist Gwilym Simcock appears with Pat Metheny in the great guitarist’s new band for what promises to be one of the biggest events of the summer in prospect, the Missourian’s landmark club gigs at Ronnie Scott’s.

Track titles of the new Gents album, expect some organic change from last time around, again to be released by London label Basho Records, are the title track first up, then It Could Have been a Simple Goodbye, A Fedora for Dora, Miniature, Terrace Legend, Dog Time, Hold Out For The Sun, Intro to Propane Jane, Propane Jane, and Speak To Me of Home.

The band line-up this time is Gwilym Simcock (piano), Mike Walker (guitar), Iain Dixon (reeds), Steve Rodby (double bass), and Adam Nussbaum (drums).

The Gents are touring during release month and into August with more to come in the autumn.

New member Dixon has recorded with Michael Brecker, Joni Mitchell, and Bryan Ferry.
