It’s sunny side up for the Steve Kuhn trio with the release later in March of At This Time, the ex-Coltrane pianist joined by bass guitarist Steve Swallow, formerly of the Impossible Gentlemen, and drummer Joey Baron who is best known for his work with Bill Frisell and Enrico Pieranunzi. A studio album recorded after a stint at New York club Birdland, standards ‘Lonely Town’ and ‘My Shining Hour’ feature among the list of tracks that also includes originals.
