Marius Neset, Alec Dankworth, Barnes O’Higgins and Patrick Cornelius are included in the line-up of this mainly straightahead and mainstream Southport festival that has been running since 2005.
2/ 25-28 February Liverpool International Jazz Festival England
Based at Liverpool Hope University’s Capstone theatre 2016 headliners include Courtney Pine and Andy Sheppard. 
3/ 8-12 March Brilliant Corners Northern Ireland 
The 2016 line-up of this Belfast jazz festival, running a little earlier in March than last year, is announced in the New Year. Laura Jurd’s Dinosaur are at the MAC on closing night. 
4/ 18-20 March Bristol International Jazz and Blues Festival England. 
Maceo Parker, Melody Gardot, Courtney Pine, Larry Carlton, Lisa Simone and Martin Taylor are scheduled for Bristol in 2016. 
5/ 15-17 April Gateshead International Jazz Festival England 
Gregory Porter, Terence Blanchard E-Collective, Roberto Fonseca trio, Courtney Pine and Zoe Rahman, Arun Ghosh, Evan Parker, Liane Carroll, WorldServiceProject + Chris Sharkey, Phil Meadows, John Surman, Kris Bowers, Alexander Hawkins trio, Cafe Society Swing, Simon Spillett Quartet, and Charles Bradley and his Extraordinaires are among the galaxy of talent to appear in April.
6/ 27 April-2 May Cheltenham Jazz Festival England
