A new album and a switch to Sony for Stacey Kent with Tenderly, now looking like a 13 November release, the cover of which is above.
Described as an “intimate collection of standards,” Brazilian bossa nova guitarist/vocalist Roberto Menescal joins Stacey and her band on the album which is stocked full of songs from the Great American Songbook.
Kent’s first all-standards record in a dozen years, the singer plays at this weekend’s Cork Jazz Festival in Ireland.
