Playing Pizza Express Jazz Club tonight with pianist Alan Broadbent, more details about the new live album from Georgia Mancio have come through. As previously reported the singer is to return with her fifth album Live at ReVoice (Roomspin Records) with a release date now confirmed for 26 November.

This album was recorded between 2012 and 2014 during the eponymous ReVoice festival at Pizza Express Jazz Club that Georgia has curated in recent years.

A pure-toned vocals and instrumental duos affair Live at Revoice features a host of well known jazz artists including Ian Shaw playing piano on possibly the most compelling track of all, a take on Davie Bowie’s ‘When I Live My Dream’, Liane Carroll again on piano, Jason Rebello, Robert Mitchell, Laurence Cottle and James Pearson the whole collection beginning with a bass duo featuring Andrew Cleyndert the co-producer of the album on Sting’s ‘Fragile.’

Material ranges from popular material to standards and to songs Mancio has co-written with pianist Tom Cawley.

Georgia Mancio, above, will be returning once again to the Soho club to launch the album at the Pizza Express Jazz Club on 16 November.
