Food return in November with their latest album This Is Not a Miracle.

Based around the duo of Loose Tubes saxophonist Iain Ballamy and the Norwegian drummer Thomas Strønen, guitarist Christian Fennesz also joins once more for this new album recorded two years ago to be released by ECM on 20 November. The band were founded in the late-1990s and have released seven albums so far the most recent, Mercurial Balm, three years ago.

Electronics and an airy spatial style characterise the band sound Ballamy’s pristine saxophone cutting through the open spaces like a sonic scythe. Orginally a quartet the band have introduced a number of guests over the years on previous albums including Nils Petter Molvær, Jan Bang and Eivind Aarset.
