Techno-influenced Swiss piano trio Plaistow return with new album Titan in October.

The band, pianist Johann Bourquenez, double bassist Vincent Ruiz and drummer Cyril Bondi, recorded the album in a studio in Fribourg in January this year Bourquenez having shaped the tracks in preparation for the studio via beatboxes and sequencers.

Formed in Geneva and together eight years they played the London Jazz Festival last year and released an album around that time called Citadelle.

The name Plaistow derives from a Squarepusher track ‘Plaistow Flex Out’ and Titan is their fourth album.
