Manchester band The Magic Beans – singer Zoe Kyoti, guitarist Ulrich Elbracht and double bassist Matt Owens, with percussionist Rick Weedon playing maracas on a few tracks – release Anything You Can Dream in late-September.

Matching their own compositions and acoustic arrangements to a range of vintage material and sun-drenched classic rock and pop covers, the heart of the album spans the 1960s-late 1980s including songs made famous by the Small Faces, the Ronettes and Sparks.

One big highlight is a beautifully rendered version of the Stones Roses’ ‘Waterfall’ Kyoti’s multi-tracked vocals injecting a hazy faraway quality.

The Magic Beans launch the album at The Three Minute Theatre in Manchester on 23 September.
