Currently in New Orleans shooting a video for ‘The Second Line’, one of the tracks on his new well received album Faces, David Lyttle, pictured above in the Crescent City, has announced new tour dates for the early autumn.

Musician-in-residence this year at the Nerve Centre in Derry the drummer/composer will play the city’s jazz club Bennigans on 27 September with his trio featuring Tom Harrison, the Cardiff-born alto saxophonist and flautist who made his debut album Dagda released on Lyttle’s label Lyte Records three years ago.

Further dates include gigs in Waterford, Cork and Dundalk with a return to Jazzeys in Enniskillen on 2 October and Oliver’s in London next day.
