Italian jazz legend Enrico Rava has a new studio album of original tunes out at the end of August.

Titled Wild Dance it features the trumpeter’s quartet augmented by the addition of long time Rava-ite trombonist Gianluca Petrella.

Also among the late-summer releases on ECM are French violinist Dominique Pifarély’s album largely made up of solo violin improvisations titled Time Before And Time After, and Italian pianist Stefano Battaglia’s In The Morning, an Alec Wilder-themed live trio affair.
