As well as the ECM releases of Creation, featuring music drawn from solo improv concerts Keith Jarrett performed during 2014 in Tokyo, Toronto, Paris and Rome; and the classically-themed Samuel Barber / Béla Bartók featuring piano concertos by Barber and Bartók; the run-up to Jarrett’s 70th birthday in May is also to include the reissue of five albums collected as a 5-CD box set in Warners’ long-running facsimile Original Album Series, repackaged with their original audio and artwork intact.

Jarrett began his career as a leader for the now Warner-owned Atlantic and Vortex labels, and this reissue due for a UK release in late-April collects Life Between The Exit Signs (1967), Restoration Ruin (1968), Somewhere Before (1968), The Mourning Of A Star (1971), and El Juicio (The Judgement) (1975).
