The reissue of some cult Tony Scott tracks, news of beat poet Michael Horovitz’s 80th superjams, Dana Masters’ biggest solo gig to date and a review of the new Julia Hülsmann Kurt Weill-themed album were some of the most popular pieces attracting reader interest on Marlbank during March.

Also receiving plenty of clicks were the sad news of Lew Soloff’s passing, something clearly readers wanted to know about arriving in large numbers; and a review of the New Cool Collective’s latest album was also very popular.

Flying Finn Iiro Rantala, making his well-received Sligo live debut, was also widely read as too was a piece on Steve Gadd’s 70th birthday album release; while a review of Theo Jackson’s Shoeless and the Girl chalked up most hits by a new artist.
