A new Dee Dee Bridgewater album is due this month.

Titled Dee Dee’s Feathers it’s billed by Sony, who are issuing the jazz singer’s latest on 20 April in the UK/Ireland on their OKeh jazz imprint as “a modern vision of New Orleans”, the great classic jazz singer and three-time Grammy winner collaborating with New Orleans Jazz Orchestra’s artistic director trumpeter Irvin Mayfield.

‘Big Chief’, ‘Saint James’ Infirmary,’ and ‘What a Wonderful World’ are among the selections, plus new tunes ‘Congo Square’ and ‘C’est ici que Je t’aime.’
