Singer Eska has signed to indie jazz label Naim. The label’s Simon Drake says the album is: “esoteric yet effortless to listen to, encompassing of all the best bits of contemporary music past and present and future.”

Self-titled Eska is to be released on the Salisbury-based label’s Edge imprint in late-April. Eska Mtungwazi is best known for her work with Matthew Herbert, The Invisible, Cinematic Orchestra, Zero 7 and Bobby McFerrin. Eska, above photo: Naim
