Saxophonist Paul Riley makes his debut with Into View, a quintet affair to be released by indie jazz label Jellymould in March.

London-based for over a decade a former saxophone and composition student at Trinity Laban graduating in 2007 Riley, above, on the new album is joined by new scenester Mitch Jones (piano, known for his gigging with Badbone & Co), and three experienced leaders in their own right who have made an impression on the national scene in the last few years: Matt Ridley (bass), Ant Law (guitar), and Dave Hamblett (drums). Comprised of Riley’s own compositions, samples of the album can be listened to above, Into View will be launched during release week with a gig at Pizza Express Jazz Club.
