A new album from Silje Nergaard is to be released in March. The title is now confirmed on the singer’s website as Chain of Days.

The new album arrives three years on from Unclouded, and is to be released internationally via Sony’s OKeh imprint. The best selling Norwegian artist known for her work with Pat Metheny and Tord Gustavsen finished mixing before Christmas commenting on her Facebook page: “I am very proud of how it came out.” Nergaard comments further on her website: “I have spent the last year writing new songs. They all have their unique personalities and little stories, and I can’t wait to share them with you. I’ve also chosen to record a cover song, my version of an A-ha song.” With lyrics written by long time collaborator Mike McGurk and Kristin A. Sanberg personnel includes the singer’s regular guitarists Hallgrim Bratberg and Havard Bendiksen plus former bassist Audun Erlien and drummer Anders Engen who has produced the album.
