Jazz west of the Bann gets a significant shot in the arm in 2015 with the launch of the Omagh Jazz and Big Band Festival.

Building on the scene local hero Plattermen keyboardist/trumpeter Ray Moore has been creating at the Strule in recent years, mainstream trumpeter Bruce Adams, trombonist Bob Quick and Derry stalwart Jim McDermott are in the line-up with the Strule, Main Street and Next Door @ Bogans at the heart of it all from 6-8 February.
