Rising jazz-vocals star Theo Jackson is one of the stand-out bookings of the next Jazz on a Winter's Weekend, a hotel-based festival organised by the Southport Melodic Jazz Club running from 6-8 February.

BBC Young Jazz Musician of the Year Alexander Bone, the Alan Barnes-David Newton septet, and a cappella hopefuls Vive are also heading to the Merseyside seaside town.
