1940s Mack Gordon/Harry Warren song ‘At Last’ may well have become Dana Masters’ signature song in recent years but Masters’ repertoire is set to evolve this week with a live Basement Sessions recording taking place tomorrow (Wednesday 3 December) and on Thursday at her old jazz haunt the McHughs basement bar in Belfast.

Material by John Legend, Corinne Bailey RaeVan Morrison – whose band Masters has been singing backing vocals in this year – and Al Green are thought to be among the song choices. Masters’ band for McHughs is to feature pianist Johnny Taylor, bassist Rod Patterson, well kept secret drummer Paul ‘Hammy’ Hamilton, trumpeter Linley Hamilton, and saxophonist Dave Howell.
