Saxophonist Alex Garnett is to debut his new Bunch of Five band in January with their studio album Andromeda.

As the name of the band suggests it’s a quintet affair saxophonist Garnett joined by New York Standards Quartet saxophonist Tim Armacost, Pigfoot pianist Liam Noble, who himself is to release a new album for Basho Records in 2015, bassist Michael Janisch whose label Whirlwind Andromeda is released on, and ex-Kit Downes trio drummer James Maddren.
