Quadraceratops debut with a self-titled album later this month.

Issued by the Manchester label Efpi Quadraceratops are led by the MBASE- and John Zorn-inspired alto/bari saxophonist Cath Roberts who has also composed the music on the album. Other members of the septet, who formed in 2011, are saxist Tom Ward, trumpeter Henry Spencer, trombonist Magnus Dearness, bassist Jason Simpson, drummer Olly Blackman, and keyboardist Dave O'Brien. Ahead of the release date of 13 October Quadraceratops play the Vortex, London tonight; and the Dulcimer, Manchester, on Tuesday.
