Further into Jazz got off to a flying start at Jazzeys in Enniskillen last night with the Neil Burns trio playing their first gig together, the first set book-ended by ‘All Blues’, and ‘Blue in Green’ from classic Miles Davis album, Kind of Blue. Earlier pianist Burns conducted a workshop at local music store KB Music in which he demonstrated approaches to improvisation using both piano and guitar. Burns, at the culmination of the workshop, also took part in an impromptu jam with the participants.
