Danish guitarist Thomas Maintz recorded Present, an album made up mainly of his own compositions in a New York recording studio with bassist Scott Colley, and Philly-born drummer Johnathan Blake. Maintz's earlier album This is the Color (2009) was nominated for a Danish Music award. 'New York Butterfly' is the sixth track of Present, and the album also features the standard 'If I Should Lose You', and Bill Evans' 'Very Early.'
