Norwegian percussionist Håkon Stene whose darkening vibes inject a stealthy edge to recently released album Lush Laments for Lazy Mammal, is on the bill at September's Punkt festival in Norway this year celebrating its tenth running. The Kristiansand gathering where the emphasis is firmly on real time remixing hosts headliner Laurie Anderson this year at the three-day event held from 4-6 September. Also appearing are Streifenjunko, Sheriffs of Nothingness, and John Tilbury & Keith Rowe in duo. The trio Mural (Ingar Zach, Jim Denley and Kim Myhr) play a special four-hour concert/installation at the city's Kunsthall with visuals by Kjell Bjørgeengen. Fennesz, Spacemonkey, Erik Honoré, Zapp 4 and the festival's own Jan Bang are also among those to appear.
