Organised by Ronnie Scott’s Late Late Show regular host, the soulful Australian tenor saxophonist Brandon Allen, who has been touring in recent months with singer Anthony Strong and who appears on the new Dylan Howe Bowie hommage, this year's line-up of the Highgate Jazz with Soul festival held in the leafy north London suburb from 22-25 August includes Laura Jurd, the Ross Stanley trio, Jean Toussaint 4, Anita Wardell, Tim Lapthorn trio, Ed Jones quartet, and Sarah Gillespie band.
