Here’s the trailer of a new documentary about leading US jazz writer and thinker Nat Hentoff.
Called The Pleasures of Being Out of Step: Notes on the Life of Nat Hentoff  the documentary features conversations with Hentoff plus input from the late Amiri Baraka, Stanley Crouch, Floyd Abrams, Aryeh Neier and jazz historian Dan Morgenstern among others, with musical examples including some of the work of Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Charles Mingus and Bob Dylan.
The film was produced and directed by former 60 Minutes and New York Daily News journalist David L. Lewis.
