This week's City of Derry Jazz and Big Band Festival features an extensive Guinness Jazz Trail that involves more than 60 venues putting on mostly free-entry jazz and related styles in the city over the five days’ duration of the festival, which begins on Thursday running up to and over the bank holiday weekend.

Curtis Stigers headlines the ticketed events as previously reported appearing in the Spiegeltent at Guildhall Square; and also appearing are bass star Kyle Eastwood; top London jazz singer Cleveland Watkiss known for his work in recent years with Blacktop and Julian Joseph; crooner contender Anthony Strong; and the tasteful Jimmy Rogers-influenced guitarist Ronnie Greer, here with both his blues band and organ trio.
