Peter Edwards trio and Partikel double bassist Max Luthert is to release his debut album Orbital in the autumn it’s emerged. And, above, you can see the cover of the sextet album, which is to be released by Whirlwind Recordings in late-October. Engineered by saxophonist Derek Nash at his studio Clowns Pocket, and whose own latest Sax Appeal album Funkerdeen is due soon, Luthert is joined on Orbital by flautist Gareth Lockrane, Partikel tenor saxophonist Duncan Eagles, alto saxophonist Séb Pipe, pianist Matt Robinson, and drummer Dave Hamblett.
