As part of this summer’s Meltdown a live performance of A Love Supreme is to be included within the programme, the organisers have indicated. Musically directed by Orphy Robinson featuring re-envisioned arrangements of the Coltrane masterpiece written by flautist Rowland Sutherland, the 14-piece ensemble includes Steve Williamson, Nikki Yeoh, and Shabaka Hutchings. The concert takes place on 22 June.
