A book that charts the historic 1959 Ornette Coleman residency at New York’s Five Spot, the little bar now long fabled in jazz history that was owned by Joe and Iggy Termini and found at 5 Cooper Square in the Bowery, is to be republished in May, the Canadian publisher of writer David Neil Lee's book The Battle of the Five Spot has indicated. The new revised edition of the book comes with an afterword by the author.
