Brecon jazz, celebrating its 30th anniversary this summer, has announced the first acts booked for this year’s festival. The reformed Loose Tubes, MOBO-winning singer Laura Mvula, mainstream cornet/flugel player Warren Vaché, who appeared at the very first running of the festival, and Welsh jazz stalwarts the Mike Harries Root Doctors, are to play the 2014 festival, which runs in the Powys market town from 8-10 August.
