Streaming live jazz gigs came into its own in 2013 with clubs in New York, London, and Glasgow among others trying the technology out. Tonight it's a historic club in Denmark where there's a chance, at 7pm UK time, to catch singer Liane Carroll performing at the Jazzhus Montmartre in Copenhagen. Carroll, whose latest album is Ballads, is performing with pianist Brian Kellock, bassist Bo Stief and drummer Alex Riel. Montmartre plans more broadcasts in January with the Steen Rasmussen Quartet featuring Josefine Cronholm on 11 January; the Jesper Thilo Quartet on the 16th; and the Paolo Fresu Danish Quartet on the 24th, with more to follow into February.
