Here’s ‘Flutter’ from The Invention of Animals to be released in the latter part of January by Medeski Martin & Wood drummer Billy Martin’s Amulet Records. It’s a collection of out of print and unreleased live recordings from The John Lurie National Orchestra featuring reedsman John Lurie, and two percussionists Billy Martin, and G. Calvin Weston. ‘Flutter’, is one of four National Orchestra performances from the soundtrack of Lurie’s 1991 cult TV series, Fishing With John included on the album.
