Fresh from playing the London Jazz Festival supported by Sons of Kemet, following a Village Underground show earlier in the year, Mehliana's record company, Nonesuch, has released the cover of Brad Mehldau and Mark Guiliana's Rhodes/synths & drums/effects-powered debut album, Mehliana: Taming the Dragon, set for release in January. Mehliana play the Highline Ballroom in New York on the day after the album's launch in America. Mehldau himself plays a rare solo piano concert at the National Concert Hall in Dublin on Sunday 1 December, the same venue that Keith Jarrett played his first concert in Ireland in 30 years, earlier in 2013.
