Tonight on Radio 3 programme The Essay to be first broadcast at a quarter to eleven pianist Neil Cowley presents in 'If Walls Could Talk' his thoughts on his residency in Derry/Londonderry, part of the inaugural UK City of Culture this year in the city.

During his time in Derry, Cowley has performed with his hit trio, formed a specially assembled choir, conducted masterclasses, and on 7 December will play a concert featuring a new untitled work at the Guildhall, the climax of his year in Derry.
