A cappella singing group the Swingle Singers are to release Weather To Fly this month, launching the new album at London’s Cadogan Hall on 28 September. The new album, to be released on the French label World Village, is their first in four years, and features the current line-up of Joanna Goldsmith-Eteson, Sara Brimer, Clare Wheeler, Oliver Griffiths, Christopher Jay, Kevin Fox, and Edward Randell. Weather To Fly features all-vocal arrangements of songs from Turkey, Spain and Argentina, plus reworked pop songs by the Beatles, and Elbow as well as Florence & The Machine. 2013 marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Swingles, and their original line-up's first album, Jazz Sébastien Bach.
