With dates in June David Lyttle is touring soon with US hard bop trumpeter Terell Stafford the featured artist joining the drummer and his band (saxophonists Meilana Gillard and Tom Harrison, bassist Damian Evans who appears on Linley Hamilton's new album In Transition, and keyboardist Jamil Sheriff). Lyttle who performed at the Brilliant Corners festival in March with Soweto Kinch and Duke Special returns for these sextet dates to Belfast venue the Black Box as part of this new tour with a show on 17 June, followed by dates in Derry (18 June, Bennigan's), Portstewart (19 June, Flowerfield Arts Centre), and Downpatrick (20 June, Down Arts Centre), with a Dublin date (21 June), at JJ Smyths.
