Ferenc Nemeth, the US-based Hungarian drummer who made such a memorable impact on the international jazz scene as a member of Gilfema with Lionel Loueke and Massimo Biolcati, has collaborated on a new album Bridges of Souls with Yellowjackets fusion legend bassist Jimmy Haslip, and Nemeth’s fellow Hungarian, the distinguished guitarist Attila Laszlo. Yellowjackets pianist Russell Ferrante and guest singers Charlie Horvath and Lara Bello also appear on some tracks.

Performing music mainly written by Nemeth, and Laszlo, with a version of Radiohead’s ‘Creep’ from Pablo Honey also making the cut, Bridges of Souls was recorded in a Los Angeles studio in June last year and has just been released on Nemeth’s label, Dreamers Collective Records.
