With tunes including original compositions, Jerome Kern classic ‘Yesterdays,’ ‘I Love You’ by Cole Porter and ‘Little B’s Poem’ by Bobby Hutcherson, le beaujolais nouveau est arrivé with Sunset (Stay Tuned Records) in June, the first new album under the leadership of vibist Roger Beaujolais in some four years.

Captured in swinging quartet mode Beaujolais is alongside pianist Robin Aspland, double bassist Simon Thorpe and drummer Winston Clifford, the album a tasteful studio affair and now streaming ahead of CD release on Bandcamp,
